Getting to Gold Coast
There are many different ways to get to the Gold Coast, the two
main ones being by landing to Brisbane airport and Gold Coast
airport at Coolangatta.
By landing at the Gold Coast Airport, Coolangatta
You can reach the Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta with direct domestic and international flights from various cities including:

By landing at Brisbane Airport - Domestic & International Terminals
If you decide to travel to the Gold Coast via Brisbane Airport, Domestic/International Terminal, then there you have a few options of transferring to the Gold Coast City:
Airtrain
Getting to the Gold Coast is as simple as getting on the train at the terminal, and getting off at Nerang Station in order to reach your hotel. There is no need to change trains in Brisbane, you simply continue south on the same train line.
The Airtrain operates every day between 5.45am and 10pm, departing every 15 minutes during peak hours.
Tickets can be purchased from the Airtrain Service counters in the domestic terminal or at the platform ticket windows at either terminal. Alternatively, you can book your ticket online and save 10%
AirtrainConnect
AirtrainConnect is the premium service for getting you from the Brisbane Airport to the door of your accommodation, and includes the train ride then a chauffeured transfer to the door. When you arrive at the airport, staff in the terminal will direct you to the train and which Gold Coast station to hop off at.
When you arrive there, your driver will be waiting with your name on a sign to take you the rest of the way.

Getting to your accommodation
From the Gold Coast Airport
The Gold Coast Airport is located in Coolangatta, only a 25 minute trip into the heart of the city. The Gold Coast Airport Visitor Information and Booking Centre is located at the domestic arrival terminal, and can assist with any transfer enquiries and other information.
- Bus: public buses are regularly available, often arriving to meet the flights. Maps and timetables are available at the terminal. More information: here. To obtain the Bus Timetable please go to “ Surfside Timetables”.
Most bus services from GC airport north will terminate at the Broadbeach south station, From here you will be able to transition onto the tram (using the same ticket) and travel further north to your accommodation: (http://ridetheg.com.au/). - Gold Coast Tourist Shuttle: the Shuttle meets every flight every day, with transfers to all major accommodation providers. There are two customer service desks located in the terminal, or you can book online: Gold Coast Shuttle and Gold Coast Airport.
- Taxi: there is a taxi rank located directly outside the terminal. Call 131008 or book online with their free mobile app available on iPhone and Android, search for GC Cabs.
From Nerang Train Station
At Nerang Station, you have a few options of transferring to your accommodation:
