COVID-19 Announcement

Traditionally, ANZCC conferences are a single-stream conferences.  Consequently, ANZCC 2020 will also be conducted as a single stream conference.
At this point in time, due to the current COVID-19 constraints, we plan to hold ANZCC 2020 as a sequence of on-line interactive sessions
We will continue to monitor the current situation and, by August, we will have to decide whether a face-to-face meeting at our very own and beautiful City of Gold Coast will be a viable option and, whether such an attendance will be made available in addition to the remote live on-line attendance. If so, then two registration options will be on offer, namely: (i) Remote Attendance Fee, and (ii) Face-to-face Attendance Fee.

An Interactive on-line conference attendance means as follows:

  1. Each conference participant will be provided with an in-browser link (no app download will be required) to access a virtual conference room and, thus remotely attend the Conference from her/his computer/laptop or a mobile device.  Participants will be able to:
    1. listen to paper presenters
    2. see presentation slides on the screen
    3. raise a question, and
    4. listen to the answer to their question/s.

All these interactions will be in real-time.

  1. Paper authors will be provided with an in-browser link (no app download will be required) to access a virtual conference room and then:
    1. upload their presentation slides (either as a pdf or power point file)
    2. present the paper
    3. listen to questions from the session participants (in real-time)
    4. immediately answer the question/s

Paper authors/co-authors will also be provided with the opportunity to submit, if they wish so, their video-recorded presentation which will be made available to conference participants for viewing, before and after the session.  Even so, the paper author/co-author will still be obliged to present their paper during the set session presentation time and interact with conference participants.

We look forward to welcoming you to the ANZCC 2020 and making your attendance at the ANZCC 2020 a memorable experience.
