Initial submissions
The following types of contributions are sought:
- Contributed manuscripts: 4 – 6 pages
- Practitioners manuscripts: 2 – 6 pages
- Invited Session Proposals: Up to 2 page long submission comprising of:
- Title of the invited session including justification of the session topic
- Title and an abstracts of each invited manuscripts; and
- Names and affiliations of the invited manuscript co-authors.
- Invited Session Manuscripts:
- Invited session manuscripts should follow the same format and page limitations as contributed manuscripts and their acceptance will be subject to the same peer review process.
- Presentation-only manuscripts
- These manuscripts will not be included in the Conference Proceedings. However, they will be a part of the Conference Program (if accepted) and their abstracts will be included in the Book of Abstracts which will be distributed to the conference participants
- Follow this link for detailed instructions on how to prepare a compliant pdf file for submission to ANZCC 2025. You will find LaTeX style files (the recommended option), MS Word templates and information about the correct settings to convert your LaTeX or MS Word file to compliant pdf there.
- Please use the online pdf compliance test with ANZCC 2025 selected as the conference before trying to upload your manuscript/paper.
- Manuscripts must be submitted through the PaperCept Conference Management System (scroll down the page for the ANZCC 2025 submission link).
- Authors of accepted manuscripts – i.e. papers - are expected to attend the conference and present their work. For details please see the ANZCC 2025 conference registration policy.
All these manuscript submission types are subject to the same submission deadline and the peer review process.. Please note that these page limits are hard limits. Longer submissions will not be accepted. There will be no provision for paid over the length submissions (excess page charges).
All manuscripts submitted to ANZCC 2025 must be written in English and formatted in the standard 2-column format for IEEE Control Systems Society conferences. Both, the Initial submissions and Final submissions must use the A4 paper, European format only.

The student's supervisor should write a nomination letter confirming the student eligibility and outlining the reasons for nomination. The letter (emails are accepted) should be sent to the Awards committee chair Victor Sreeram, victor.sreeram@uwa.edu.au.
Plagiarism policy
Each submitted paper must represent original work that neither has appeared or has been accepted to appear elsewhere for publication, nor is simultaneously under review for another publication, in its current form. If the submitted paper contains any of the (co)authors' previously published work(s) as a basis for the submission, the previous work(s) must be cited and indication must be given as to how the new submission offers substantive novel contributions beyond those of the previously published work(s). In accordance with the IEEE Policy, all submissions will be tested for similarity and overlap with prior published material using the iThenticate tool. Results of such overlap will be made available to the Program committee for evaluation. In case of possible violations of the IEEE ethics rules in publishing, the case will be handled in accordance with the IEEE CSS guidelines and may be reported to the IEEE Control Systems Society Committee for Ethics in Publishing. The ANZCC 2025 Plagiarism committee is chaired by Victor Sreeram.
